What is the OC (Opportunity Class) test?
The Opportunity Class (OC) placement test is sat in Year 4. It identifies high-achieving NSW primary school students for placement into Opportunity Classes at select public schools for Years 5 and 6. The test assesses reading, mathematical reasoning, thinking skills and writing.
What is the Selective High School test?
The NSW Selective High School Placement Test is sat in Year 6. It places high-performing students into academically selective NSW government high schools. It assesses reading, mathematical reasoning, thinking skills and writing.
What year levels does ACER Education teach?
ACER Education teaches students in Years 3, 4, 5 and 6. Year 3 builds foundations; Year 4 is focused OC exam preparation; Years 5 and 6 focus on Selective High School exam preparation.
